REFA Mentor Program & Resources

The REFA Mentor Program provides REFA Emerging Leaders with the opportunity to be paired with a senior-level REFA member for a yearlong partnership.

2 Spaces will be available for Student Members, and they will be selected based on a lottery system.

REFA's 8th Mentor Program is currently underway, led by Co-Chairs Vin NortonUrban Meritage and Ian McKinley, GFI Partners. REFA organizes events throughout the calendar year to bring all participants together. Mentor/mentee pairs are encouraged to connect regularly throughout the program. The pairs share ideas, career advice, and act as sounding boards to help with career and professional development.

This year's program will feature 40 mentors/mentee pairs. A selection committee will review the applications to select a well-rounded cohort and will let candidates know by early February. 

The pairs will be organized into sub-groups of 5-6 pairs. The smaller groups meet with each other 2-3 times a year in addition to the pairs meeting on their own. This provides participants the opportunity to connect and network with other mentors and mentees.
