Careers Committee: The Careers Committee is responsible for promoting careers in the rental housing industry and encouraging recruitment efforts of members. The committee also plans special events, such as industry panels, career fairs, community outreach events and more.
The Careers Committee meets every other month or as needed.

DEI Committee: Added in 2021, The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee will focus on creating a more diverse and welcoming industry through education and resources.
The DEI Committee meets every month or as needed.
Committee Co-Chairs: Heather Perry, Chestnut Hill Realty and Mary Taylor, Beacon Communities
Education Committee: The Education Committee is tasked with planning and marketing quarterly events and creating the education calendar for the association which highlights NAAEI (National Apartment Association Education Institute) credentials as well as local sessions.
The Education Committee meets monthly.

Emerging Professionals Committee: The committee meets throughout the year to support building networks and enhancing professional development for those 35 years and under. The committee is responsible for planning social & educational events for the EPs of MAA.
The EP Committee meets every other month or as needed.
Committee Co-Chairs: Michael Pulsifer, First Resource Companies and Rocio Simon, Greystar
MAA Expo Committee: The MAA Expo Committee is responsible for planning and marketing the Annual MAA Expo. The committee is tasked with generating new exhibitor leads, identifying ways to retain and engage existing exhibitors and developing speaker ideas. This committee is responsible for securing 800 attendees.

Membership Committee: This committee is responsible for assisting with the dues renewal process for MAA Members including outreach to new members. The committee is responsible for lead generation and identifying ways to engage and retain members.
