REFA DEI Resource Page
The DEI Committee is committed to bringing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to the forefront of REFA and Boston’s CRE industry through careful policy planning, insightful programming, and tactical steering.
In 2014 REFA started a Women’s Initiative that was focused on providing education and engagement opportunities for women. At that time REFA’s membership comprised as 17 percent women. Today, REFA’s Membership is 19.5% women.
The Women’s initiative was strong with programing including quarterly roundtables, X and X
In 2018, REFA developed a DEI Policy which was adopted by the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. To read the DEI Policy Click here.
In 2019, REFA created the DEI Committee which was formed as a result of this policy.

In 2020, REFA aligned with the Builders of Color Coalition to engage their members who are now actively involved with REFA.
