Who We Are
Originally founded, in 1991, as the Commercial Leasing Committee of BOMA, the Commercial Brokers Association was established as a free standing division of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board in 2001. CBA represents over 400 members in the commercial brokerage community throughout Massachusetts. CBA is deeply committed to providing relevant educational programs, promoting professionalism and cooperation, and creating an atmosphere where knowledge and ideas are easily exchanged.
CBA Holds quarterly panel discussion on a variety of topics specific for the industry. CBA holds programming specific for the Future Leaders Membership including Executive Roundtables and Market Updates.
Women in Commercial Brokerage Initiative
CBA has a women's initiative which focuses on providing female brokers professional development and exclusive networking events.
CBA Achievement Awards:
CBA members receive peer recognition through our annual achievement awards. Your peers elect and vote for recipients of Broker of the Year, Landlord of the Year, Collaborating Professional and Future Leader of the Year. Deals of the Year, are nominated and judged by a panel of industry experts and include Office Deal of the Year (Downtown and Suburban), Industrial Deal of the Year, Investment Sale of the Year, Retail Deal of the Year, Creative Deal of the Year and Life Science Deal of the Year.
CBA Charitable Golf Tournament
Held in September, CBA's Annual Charitable Golf Tournament is a highlight of the summer! CBA Members gather for a friendly and completive day on the course while raising money for a great cause!
CBA Charitable Partner
In 2019, CBA identified Caritas Communities as their Charitable Partner. CBA works with Caritas throughout the year promoting their mission and signature programs. CBA's Charitable Golf Tournament held in September will benefit Caritas Communities.
