As the COVID-19 Pandemic has progressed, its effect on residential tenants and housing providers has been unprecedented. In response, the State and Federal governments have allocated more than 26 Billion Dollars to assist landlords in preserving rental housing through various existing and new rental assistance programs. In addition, the Housing Courts have created new processes and programs to ensure that landlord and tenants are able to work together to resolve cases involving unpaid rent. Navigating all of these programs and encouraging residents to engage with management, however, can be complex and challenging. This program will provide property owners and managers with practical guidance on how to AVOID evictions and vacancies, obtain funding, and stabilize housing during these difficult times.

- An update from the Housing Court on the resources offered by the Court to assist residents and landlords in preserving housing
- A guide to the current rental assistance programs.
- A practical guide from industry leaders and attorneys on effective tools to engage residents in the process and avoid evictions.
