The annual nomination and election of officers and directors for the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR), state directors to the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, and directors to the National Association of REALTORS® is intended to be an open process in which members may nominate themselves or fellow members.
Within the packet below, you will find the job description and candidate qualifications for each elected office, as well as the nomination form which must be completed and submitted to the GBAR Nominating Committee in order to be eligible for consideration for office in 2019. Importantly, in completing the nomination process, please be aware that three industry references are required when submitting a nomination entry.

Nominations must be submitted by Monday, August 20, 2018. Nomination forms should be mailed to: Greater Boston Association of REALTORS®, 68 Main Street, Reading, MA 01867, faxed to GBAR 617-338-2600, or emailed to Exec. VP. John Dulczewski at email@example.com.
The GBAR Nominating Committee is responsible for reviewing all nominations to ensure candidates meet the qualifications of the position they have been nominated to serve, and may require interviews of nominees. Prior to October 1, the Nominating Committee will vote on a recommended slate of officers and directors for the association for 2019, which will be presented to the GBAR Board of Directors for approval at their annual meeting, which is scheduled to occur on October 15, 2018.
