Facilities Planning and Project Management stresses that technical skills are important, but strategy, leadership, and direction will contribute more to the success of your facilities projects than logistical prowess. You will learn to develop strategic facilities plans, plan facilities projects, and effectively implement and evaluate projects. You will also understand the why and the how of communicating with those employees directly affected by facilities projects, and integrating them into the strategic process.
· Organize and plan a successful facilities project
· Assemble a project team
· Use best practices to determine facility needs
· Distinguish among the roles that each employee and/or contractor has in managing a facility
· Grow and implement project management skill sets
