Education and Programs with a Focus on Commercial Real Estate
CBA offers programs tailored to the commercial, industrial and retail segments of our industry. CBA also offers programs and seminars of topical interest throughout the year. These programs feature industry professionals discussing current real estate issues.
CBA Achievement Awards
CBA members receive peer recognition through our annual achievement awards. Your peers elect and vote for recipients of McCall Leadership Award, Landlord of the Year and Future Leader Award. Deals of the Year, are nominated and judged by a panel of industry experts and include Office Deal of the Year (Downtown and Suburban), Industrial Deal of the Year, Investment Sale of the Year, Retail Deal of the Year (Sale and Lease) and Life Science Deal of the Year.
CBA Charity Golf Outing
CBA members rally annually for this event! All proceeds are donated to charitable organizations in the Greater Boston Area. The most recent beneficiary has been Caritas Communities a non-sectarian, not for profit provider of housing for the working poor.
GBREB Government Affairs
As a member of CBA, you have a representative on the GBREB Government Affairs Committee providing legislative and regulatory advocacy on matters that impact the commercial real estate industry.
Mediation and Arbitration
CBA provides a forum for resolving issues between member firms through our arbitration and mediation services.
Powerful Network of Industry Related Professionals
Membership in CBA and the Greater Boston Real Estate Board brings you together with every aspect of the real estate industry. The five divisions of GBREB include the Commercial Brokers Association, Building Owners and Managers Association, Real Estate Finance Association, Rental Housing Association, and Greater Boston Association of Realtors.
