Net zero buildings are becoming more widely known as communities and property owners seek to reduce energy loads, operating costs, and carbon emissions. This presentation will clarify the basic definitions associated with net zero including net zero energy, net zero emissions, and net zero buildings and communities. It will also explore the key design and construction strategies to make net zero successful. Both of the speakers will share their expertise in this field while utilizing their projects as case studies. They will also explore the changing regulatory and legislative landscape as it relates to net zero.
