Facilities Planning and Project Management stresses that technical skills are important, but strategy, leadership, and direction will contribute more to the success of your facilities projects than logistical prowess. You will learn to develop strategic facilities plans, plan facilities projects, and effectively implement and evaluate projects.  You will also understand the why and the how of communicating with those employees directly affected by facilities projects, and integrating them into the strategic process.

· Organize and plan a successful facilities project

· Assemble a project team

· Use best practices to determine facility needs

· Distinguish among the roles that each employee and/or contractor has in managing a facility

· Grow and implement project management skill sets


Instructor: Jennifer Twombly, Rockhill Management
 

Jennifer Twombly is currently a Senior Property Manager with Rockhill Management, LLC. Jennifer has over 10 years of property management experience, ranging from medical office assets to suburban industrial real estate to downtown high rise Class A office space. A graduate of Bentley University in Waltham, MA, she found her way to a career in real estate that started at CBRE New England. She has served a variety of real estate investment clients and has a strong passion for real estate and business management. Jennifer is the Senior Property Manager for 100 High Street and 160 Federal Street. She oversees all day to day operations, construction, amenity services and financial matters for these properties which total just under 1 million square feet.
