BOMA Boston Sustainability Best Practices
Click Here to see BOMA Boston’s Sustainability Best Practices on sustainability sites, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, material and resources, and indoor environmental quality. Each Best Practice is broken down to one of three (3) levels; Level 1: No Cost/Low cost, Level 2: Low Cost/Medium Cost, and Level 3: Medium Cost/High Cost.
BOMA Boston has provided these Sustainability Best Practices as a resource for its membership. BOMA Boston does not recommend or endorse specific service providers or consultants to assist with these Best Practices.

BOMA 360 Performance Program
The BOMA 360 Performance Program is a BOMA International building designation program designed to recognize outstanding building operations and management. The BOMA 360 designation provides national recognition that can be used to market your building, helping to keep existing tenants and attract new ones.
BOMA 360 evaluates six major areas of building operations and management and benchmarks a building’s performance against industry standards. Only occupied commercial office buildings and industrial buildings are eligible for the BOMA 360 Performance Program designation. There are four prerequisites that must be met to apply for the designation. Applications for the BOMA 360 Performance Program may be submitted at any time during the year, with designations conferred quarterly. There is an application fee that is tiered based on the property’s total square footage.
The BOMA 360 Performance Program gives your building nationwide recognition at the BOMA International Conference, each BOMA International Meeting, and on the BOMA International website. You also receive recognition at the local BOMA Boston level. All Boston BOMA 360 Designation buildings are recognized at the TOBY & Industry Awards, in the BOMA Boston eNewsletter and on the BOMA Boston website.
