.: About the Scholarship
Mission Statement
The GBREB Foundation scholarship provides deserving high school
graduates, who reside in the 54 GBREB communities, with financial
assistance for their post-secondary education. The scholarship
represents another opportunity for members of the real estate
industry to give back to their communities and increase
educational opportunities for those less fortunate.
How the Scholarship Works
The first $120,000 in scholarships will be awarded this spring to students attending college in the fall of 2012 and will be based on financial need, academic achievement, leadership, extra-curricular involvement, and short written essays. The Massachusetts non-profit company ACCESS has been retained to manage the scholarship program. ACCESS is Massachusetts' leading provider of financial aid advising and scholarships and has provided financial aid advising and scholarships to more than 50,000 students since 1985, helping them realize their higher education goals and giving them a better foundation for a successful and productive future.
How to Apply
Students have until April 1, 2012 to apply and applications are available on line at CLICK HERE as well as online at www.accessedu.org.
