2010 Monthly Housing Market Reports

In an effort to more closely monitor housing market activity in metropolitan Boston, the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® (GBAR) compiles a monthly data report of key market indicators which offers a snapshot of the overall performance of detached single-family home and condominium markets in the 54 cities and towns that comprise the GBAR jurisdictional area. The monthly housing report consists of data charts which provide annual and monthly comparisons on sales volume, median selling price, inventory levels, pending sales and average length of time on the market for sold property. Additionally, beginning in 2010, a narrative summary of market activity offering some brief analysis and historical perspective on the data will be provided as part of each month’s report.
