HOPE NOW is coming to Massachusetts
The HOPE NOW Alliance and the US Treasury Department’s Making Home Affordable Program are working together to bring a free homeownership event to Foxborough on Tuesday, August 28 at Gillette Stadium. The event is designed to offer homeowners in financial distress a face-to-face meeting with a representative of their mortgage lender and/or a local housing counselor. Volunteers are needed for this pro-homeownership event, and are critical to the success of the day. There are expected to be roughly 20 mortgage lending companies and 500-1,000 homeowners in attendance. Tasks include registration, exit surveys, directional guidance, translation, and additional assistance that will help the day run smoothly for the homeowner. Volunteer shifts are from 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm and 4:30 pm – 8:00 pm (and you can attend both sessions, will be fed, get a free t-shirt, and free parking!). If you are interested, please contact Joseph Putney at joseph.putney@hopenow.com or 202-589-2426 and let him know:

This is an excellent opportunity for REALTORS® to demonstrate their desire to protect the American dream of homeownership, and we hope that you will consider volunteering.
