This coming Monday, June 4, REALTORS® from across the Bay State will gather at the State House for REALTOR® Day on the Hill, and we want YOU to join! This is one of the greatest ways to participate together as a strong group to show our legislators that we are united in improving our industry in as many ways as possible. There are several issues on the agenda that REALTORS® support this year, including an increase in continuing education requirements, creation of a copper theft prevention/abandoned property registry, and homebuyer assistance programs. REALTORS® also oppose a local imposition of room occupancy tax, real estate transfer taxes, and mandatory energy audits. With your help, we will get these issues on the desks of legislators. After witnessing the 13,000 REALTORS® at the REALTOR® Rally earlier in May, it is clear that we can make a difference. So register yourself and a friend right now, and take pride in the fact that you belong to the REALTOR® organization and you will stand firm on the issues that matter the most.
