You should be proud to be a REALTOR®. As a member of GBAR, you have numerous opportunities each year to make use of your membership. You can attend one of our many educational events and become more knowledgeable on all types of real estate topics. You can attend a networking night and socialize and meet people whom you can make referrals and do more business with. Most importantly you are part of an organization that is a political advocate for the American Dream of Homeownership. This May in Washington DC, a large group of REALTORS® will rally to show Congress that Homeownership Matters. If enough people from our area register for the rally a bus will be provided to make the trip, so sign up now! And in addition to all of these things, a poll by NAR shows that 77% of consumers prefer to work with a REALTOR® rather than an agent who is not a member. Wear your REALTOR® pin and display the REALTOR® logo with pride and let the public know you are held to a higher standard than the average agent. It may seem like a small thing, but we all know that is the little things that make the difference.
