At GBAR, we aim to be the leading advocacy organization for local REALTORS® and to deliver the programs, services and resources you need to succeed in your real estate career. To meet our mission, carry out the association’s strategic plan, and remain relevant to current and future generations of real estate professionals we need effective leaders. Currently, we are accepting nominations through August 1 for several elected leadership positions for 2013, including treasurer, vice president, president-elect, and four vacancies for two-year terms as director. In addition, we are seeking candidates to serve on the boards of directors for GBREB (four open seats), MAR (nine open seats) and NAR (one open seat). If you have the knowledge, passion and communication skills to be an industry advocate and voice for fellow REALTORS®, or know someone who does, please consider submitting a Candidate Application form for yourself or a colleague. Ideal candidates shall be vocal, decisive, ethical, forward-thinking, but most importantly we want our association’s leadership to reflect the diversity of business models and licensee population we serve.
