In real estate, it’s all about location. That’s especially true today when discussing the market. Unfortunately, national headlines don’t tell the story and ignore the recovery underway in Greater Boston. To assist you in communicating with buyers and sellers, GBAR has recently enhanced its menu of products you can use to educate consumers about the local housing market. Our new Local Market Updates, introduced last July and now available for 64 communities in eastern Mass. and 20 Boston neighborhoods, detail activity in the single-family home and condo markets on a monthly basis. In addition, the monthly Market Indicator Report monitors key measures of market activity across metro Boston, including percent of list-to-sale-price, months of supply, and housing affordability. These reports supplement our quarterly Real Estate Rewind reports (offered since 2007), and along with the Massachusetts Home Buyer & Seller Profile report and the various property reports and valuation tools available via the REALTORS® Property Resource database, will allow you to provide an accurate portrayal of market conditions and effectively position yourself as a local housing expert to consumers.
