2009 GBAR Awards and Networking Dinner
Tuesday, September 15, 2009 Say so long to another New England summer aboard the Spirit of Boston for GBAR's Annual Awards and Networking Dinner. GBAR New Member Orientation
Wednesday, July 8, 2009 As a part of the GBAR new member requirements, you must complete the New Member Orientation Program to be accepted as a full REALTOR® member. REALTOR® Day on The Hill
Tuesday, June 9, 2009 Several hundred REALTORS® including more than two dozen GBAR members attended this year’s REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill June 9 at the Massachusetts State House. The annual event allows REALTORS® from across the Bay State to lobby legislators about issues affecting homeowners’ rights and the real estate industry. Issues on this year’s agenda include creating an abandoned property registry and a state-wide “Second Hand Metal Registry” to deter theft of copper from abandoned houses. Nominations Open for 2009 GBAR Awards
Tuesday, June 2, 2009 Do you know a colleague or a fellow REALTOR® who exemplifies the service and professionalism most REALTORS® strive for? Then why not recognize that person by nominating him or her for this year’s GBAR awards? The awards being presented this year are REALTOR® of the Year (ROTY), the Andrew F. Hickey Distinguished Service Award (DSA) and the GBAR Good Neighbor Award. Nominations for the Good Neighbor Award must be in by April 15 while nominations for the ROTY and DSA must be submitted by May 15. Monday, March 16, 2009 The 2010 nomination process for GBAR leadership is now open and is perfect for members looking to take a more active role in the association. The deadline to apply for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Regional Vice President is April 1, 2009, while the deadline to apply for other positions such as GBAR president, president-elect, vice-president, treasurer and a director, is July 15. Information on the deadlines and the open positions is available in the 2010 GBAR Nomination Packet. |
