RULES AND REGULATIONS
Registration Begins at 7:00 am | Boats Ready to Depart by 7:45am

Listen to your licensed captain. Safety is paramount.

This tournament will be held rain or shine and will be cancelled only in the event of high winds (marine small craft advisory) and/or lightning.

Please note Glassware and Hard Alcohol are not permitted on the boats.

Tips are at discretion of clients. We recommend tipping $50-$100 per boat, especially if there is a first mate on board that has done a great job.

BOMA will provide breakfast, juice and water prior to launch - we will be providing light snacks for on-board the boats; however, you are strongly encouraged to bring your own.

Keep track of all fish caught per angler, and for each, measure length of fish (bottom lip to end of tail) and weight using the provided scales. Please use the form provided to record your fish sizes. Prizes will be given to the heaviest overall fish, with runner-up prizes given to the heaviest fish caught by a man and a woman (overall winner is not eligible for this prize); most fish per boat, heaviest bluefish and biggest fly rod catch.

Each Angler Sheet must be completed clearly and correctly and be signed by the Captain to be eligible for prizes. Incomplete Angler Sheets will not be accepted! All entries must be entered on the provided Angler form in the correct area. Any entries recorded in the incorrect location on the form will not qualify for prizes.

Catch and release is encouraged. Keeping a “killed” (gut hooked) fish is solely at the discretion of the captain. All Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries rules and regulations apply. http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dmf/recreationalfishing/charter_poster.pdf

Inevitable Unpolished Disclaimer: Captains have been randomly assigned clients and are familiar with Boston Harbor. However, levels of experience, fishing techniques, boats, and gear may vary from captain to captain. BOMA or the Committee Members are not to be held accountable for cancellations due to weather or equipment breakdowns. Remember, the biggest boat does not guarantee the biggest fish!

NOTE: Please be advised that bathrooms will not be available on most boats
