About the Emerging Leaders Breakfast Series
Senior real estate professionals host informal, intimate breakfasts and lunches for REFA Emerging Leader members and non-members with a brief presentation on various real estate topics that will include an overview on "how I got to where I am today" followed by an interactive Q&A session. Please join Anthony Crooks as he talks about his vibrant career as a leader in Boston’s real estate landscape. Breakfast will be provided and attendees are asked to come prepared with questions for the host.

Anthony C. Crooks, CFA,  Director, AEW Partners Funds, AEW Capital Management LP
Mr. Crooks is a Director of the Firm and an Investment Manager with the AEW Partners Funds, responsible for investment origination and asset management. Since 2000, he has invested over $1.0 billion dollars in the office, senior housing, condominium/multifamily residential and mixed-use sectors. He is responsible for office, retail, residential, industrial and debt acquisitions in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. He also leads the Partners Funds in all healthcare related investments and asset management domestically and in Canada. During his tenure at AEW, Mr. Crooks has been involved in acquisitions, dispositions,  financing, asset management and portfolio management for a wide variety of commercial real estate product types across North America. Prior to joining AEW in 2000, Mr. Crooks served as an equity analyst with Thomson Financial. He currently serves on the Board of the American Senior Housing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is a graduate of Northeastern University (B.S.B.A.) and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
