BOMA Boston is committed to giving back to the community.  In addition to community service activities and holiday toy drives – the BOMA Benefit is the annual fundraiser that raises money on behalf of local charities. Since 1989, BOMA Boston has raised over $900,000 for local charitable causes, including City Year Boston, Habitat for Humanity, My Brother’s Keeper, Home Start, Rosie’s Place and many more.

The BOMA Benefit is committed to raising funds on behalf of charities whose missions are aligned with providing affordable housing, housing solutions, and education to those in need. In 2014 we will also be selecting a charity whose work benefits the community or individuals of Greater Boston as a whole, through efforts that focus on health & human services, the environment, etc. – to name a few.

This year BOMA is pleased to present the 25th Annual Benefit which will be held on Saturday, February 8th at the Seaport Hotel from 7 – 11 p.m. Through the generosity of our members we are hoping to raise $150K for this anniversary year! 

We are currently accepting proposals for the 2014 BOMA Benefit.  Deadline for proposals is Tuesday, November 12, 2013.

To apply, please send the following:

  • A brief description of why your organization should be considered for this charitable donation from the BOMA Benefit and how the funds will be used
  • Mission Statement/Collateral/Board of Directors of your organization
  • A current 990
  • Anything else you would like our selection committee to know that will help support your application

The selection process will take place late November and beneficiaries will be notified the first week of December.
